Does this add-on respect concrete5 permission settings to help prevent hot linking?

It does not really respect c5's permissions, (s3 doesn't know about c5's permissions).

With a small modification you can make it so that links to s3 expire, I should probably add that to this addon anyway.

Right, sorry, I poorly explained what I was trying to ask.

URL tokenizing was what I was thinking about, but couldn't remember the AWS term before posting the original topic.

As long as each user gets a fresh token, this should be perfect.

Yea, its a fairly trivial modification (just adding a parameter to a function)

I might make an interface for it, didn't get that far :)

I think I have it working, but before releasing there might be some breaking changes in 5.7.4 that need to be addressed

I just updated the addon with support for expiring links, you need to have configured your bucket permissions appropriately for it to work.
