Do you find rich text editors a bit of a drag? Do they get in the way when all you want to do is enter a few simple paragraphs of text or a few rows of a list, or even a small table?

Structured Content is the answer. With Structured Content you simply enter content as lines of plain text, select a template, and let Structured Content sort out the structure and formatting for you.

Structured Content is one of the easiest and quickest to use blocks you have ever met. The block edit is simply an area to enter or paste text and a pull down menu to select the template that formats the text. You don't even have to pop up another dialog to select the template. If you want a heading followed by a list and then a few text paragraphs, just add a structured content block for each.

There are templates for text paragraphs, various lists and tables. If you cant find what you want, the templates are so simple it is easy to add more. They are designed to take most of their styling from your theme, with a dashboard option to add just a few styles to make life easier.

Also on the associated dashboard page are options to allow some basic html formatting tags, styles and classes and to automatically link from URLs. If you also have Magic Data or Oembed, you can even embed Magic Data tokens or let Oembed expand media links.

As a bonus, Structured Content includes a couple of floated templates for the regular image block, enabling easy combining of images with Structured Content.
