Map Block disappears shortly after loading.
Permalink Browser Info Environment
When I attempt to load your block to an empty area it will appear for about 3 seconds and then
close before I can use it. I tried to load it to various block areas with both Chrome and IE.
I hope there is an answer to this, your addon looks wonderful.

Thanks Adam for the quick reply.
1-The form appears for about 3 seconds before I can enter anything.
2-Other blocks behave properly.
3-The default Google map loads OK.
4-# concrete5 Version
Core Version - 5.7.5.7
Version Installed - 5.7.5.7
5- Uninstalled and reinstalled - no change.
Thanks a bunch - Gene

Hi Gene,
This is really strange!
Any possibility you could post (or PM) a link to the website / page in question so I can take a look and see if I can spot any potential conflicts?
An even better option would be temporary access to the admin panel of your site so I can see this problem first hand and better identify the cause.
However, I understand if you are unable to provide this level of access.
(If you can grant admin access, please make sure to PM the details directly as support issues can be viewed by the public)
Cheers,
Adam

How is it going Adam - did you receive the login info?

Hi Gene,
No, I have not yet received any login info.
Did you send it via a Concrete5 private message?
You can send me a private message from my profile page here,
https://www.concrete5.org/profile/-/view/183245/...
I will keep an eye out for it.
Cheers,
Adam

I am also having this problem with the Baseline theme, Concrete version 8.0.0
I'm seeing a javascript error reported in the console, by the way, complaining about having included the Google API multiple times (just before the add block dialog closes automatically).
Same here.
Concrete v.8.2.1
Theme: Stucco v.2.1.3
Styled Maps v.1.2.3

Hi Gene,
Thanks for the login details.
It looks as though there is a conflict with the Baseline theme you are using.
This can be confirmed by going to dashboard > pages & themes > activate another theme (in your case Fruitful).
Choose apply to all pages then return to a page on your website and drag the Styled Maps block onto the page.
You will notice that it no longer disappears.
I will look into this further and see if I can rectify the conflicting issue between the add-on and this theme for you.
Will keep you posted.
P.s: Don't forget to re-activate the Baseline theme after testing to get your site and content back the way it was before switching themes. ;)

Good sleuthing Adam
There is no rush on the map solution we have a lot to do before that is needed.
I really like your addon - It's worth waiting for.
Best - Gene

Same problem here. I use theme "Long Way Home".
Same here. concrete5 8.2.0, Google Maps works, Styled Maps disappears. Self-written theme.
Do you mean the add-on form closes before you can use it or the map after it has been created?
Are you having any issues with any other blocks on the page?
Eg: if adding the default maps block do you have a similar issue?
Also, what version of Concrete5 are you using?
It's the first time an issue such as this one has been raised so I will need to gather a bit more info so we can work out what might be happening and hopefully get everything fixed for you.
Additionally, you could try removing the add-on and re-installing it again to see if a fresh install clears up any issues.
I look forward to your reply.
Cheers,
Adam
