Superfish and Layout!

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I want to put SF in the left hand column of a four column layout using the new layout tool.

The submenus of SF are not showing as they are behind the column to the right. (I know they are opening up if I set a fixed width on SF and widen the menu column. I don't want to dedicate half the page to the menu though!)

How can we set SF so it can be used vertically in the new layout tool?

Thanks, Luke

Here's a quick fix for this - although it may have other consequences. Try copying concrete/css/ccm.base.css to your root css/ directory, opening it and removing this line:

.ccm-layout .ccm-layout-cell{ overflow:hidden; }

This fixed the issue for me – however I will check with the developer of the layouts tool to ensure that this won't cause further problems.

Hi Andrew,

Many thanks for your reply. I'll have a go at this.

I moved to a three column layout and put the vertical SF in the lh column. However, I do like the new layout tool and would prefer to put SF in one of the layout columns.

Thanks again, Luke
