tcslider and tc-active

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi there,
I just wanted to touch base. Some days ago I made a posting regarding the tc-active feature you added, since I could not make it work. I never heard back from you; however I just noticed that Concrete5 changed the profiles and I cannot find the message anywhere, so I am not sure if you ever saw it.

This is the site where I am trying to implement ithttp://bladerunners.dreamhosters.com/.... You will be able to see it in the home page and the company pages. I gave the ids to the links and then tried to apply the styling to the id names like this

#tc-slider-myslider #slide1{background-color:#B70000;}

and also like this

#tc-slider-myslider .tc-active{background-color:#B70000;}

But none worked, any ides of what I might be missing.

Thank in advance for your help.

My apologies for the late reply. I just realized there was a separate discussion area for packages (vs. the support area).

I looked at the site you referenced. It doesn't look like you got tc-active working, so... You're on the right path, tc-active is a class applied to the custom slider links. Your styling looks correct based on what I can see. Most likely the problem is that there is either other styling that is overriding the tc-active styling or the link is not being recognized by the code that applies the class. This could be because the id/classes on the link aren't correct.

I have an example of a slider similar to yours that is working with tc-active. Take a look at this link:

The instructions there should be able to help you out.

Hi Todd,

We are running an annual update for Blade Runners and I recalled the issue with the tc-active that to be honest I had totally forgotten. I tried to implement your solution, but still does not work. I checked and it seems that I do not have the latest version of the tc slider, so the tc-active class is not being automatically added.

I know it has been some time.....is there any qay I can get the updated version.... or do I have to buy it again?

Thank you so much!
