I've changed the default setting for tinymce in the c5 dashboard (/dashboard/settings/) but the config doesn't seem to effect tinymce in your add-on. Do you know of a work around?

You can customize this I figured out how to do it, post a reply if you still need this.
Afraid not. I just edited the tinymce source in the packages folder to mirror the changes to the global config. A nasty hack but I was limited on time.
