Got the old, do I want the new one now?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi

I have a license for Touch Gallery for former version of Concrete5. I am pondering reviving my photo site. Should I go for 5.7 and get a new version of Touch Gallery or do you rather recommend that I wait for some time yet, given that you assisted with making a minor change to the version that I currently own??

Thanks in advance

Kind regards
Søren Kristiansen

Hello,
Frankly, it all depends on your needs. If you are happy and satisfied with the 5.6 branch of Concrete5 I suggest you stay with it.
Pros: it is pretty stable, lots of add-ons, you're used to it.
Cons: you might have to change in 3 or 4 years if you need lots of support.

If the problem is the modification I brought Touch Gallery for you, that's not a problem, the code is mostly the same for 5.7 and the same modification can be implemented.

Thank you for the answer. It pretty much rhymes with my own thoughts on the subject.

Kind regards
Søren
