Documentation

Quick Start

If you are already familiar with Magic Data, Uber List is not that difficult to use and you could simply jump straight in:

  1. Create a stack that acts as a template for list items. Include Magic Data tokens in that stack to show stuff based on the item listed. Use the UBER_LIST_ITEM symbol to acces the current list item.
  2. Add an Uber List block to a page with a Magic Data expression to create a list.
  3. Select the stack in the Uber List block.

Tip for Power Users!

I tend to develop pages containing Uber Lists with three browser tabs open:

  1. On the site page with the actual Uber List block I am adding / testing.
  2. On the dashboard Symbols Documentation page.
  3. On the dashboard Stack Edit page for the stack that templates the list.

See the Uber List User Guide for full documentation and many examples. Also see how Uber List's companion addon Uber Filter can be used to find pages within the Uber List documentation.

For existing Magic Data users, the main thing you need to do is expand your knowledge of how Magic Data creates and manipulates lists. In addition to the Uber List section of www.c5magic.co.uk there are more examples of listing things in the Magic Data section.
