Page list... page thumbnail as link?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am using UberList to display a page-list...
I am trying to get the thumbnail from a page's attribute to act as the link back to the page, but am in need of assistance.

I have the following in a cache free content block in a stack for my Uber List:

[% UBER_LIST_ITEM ATTRIBUTE 'page_thumbnail' AS_FILE FILE_THUMBNAIL 400 ZERO_AS_THEN_END %]
[% UBER_LIST_ITEM URL AS_NAMED_LINK_NEW_WINDOW "OPEN PAGE" %]

The last line above works great, but I would also like the thumbnail image to be a link as well (as my end users are too lazy to actually read words).

Thanks for your time!
~Mike

Have you created a custom symbol 'AS_NAMED_LINK_NEW_WINDOW'?

Try:
[% UBER_LIST_ITEM URL AS_NAMED_LINK ( UBER_LIST_ITEM ATTRIBUTE 'page_thumbnail' AS_FILE FILE_THUMBNAIL 400 OR UBER_LIST_ITEM PAGE_NAME ) %]

This will put the thumbnail inside the link name, or if it doesn't have one, just the page name.

Awesome! Thank You! I would never have thought of that. I've been searching for an answer for 2 days (well, not continually...) and never even got close, but now that I see it, it's seems so simple. Shows you my expertise level. Thank you again!

AHHH... custom symbol... I guess I did, I don't really remember, I must have needed the link to open in a new window, I guess. It's funny how age effects the memory.

A heads up
v2.7.26 of symbols now includes _NEW_WINDOW variants. There could be an override issue with your custom symbol.
