Display Page Thumbnail in list

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I just bought the addon, great package!

I would like to display the page thumbnail in the list. Can you give me some pointers how to implement that? Make a new template maybe?

Many thanks,
Mike

Hi,

Thanks for your quick response.

If I add an image using your attribute it works but it won't pull the image from the Page Thumbnail attribute as described in the docs. I was hoping to use that attribute because I need it for other page lists and it means I have to add additional attributes to over 100 pages, which will take a little while.

I think I can live with it as it is for now thanks. I've made a new template to take out the "posted by" message and it all looks pretty good.

I might get back to you about some alignment issues but I'll see if I can fix them first. The addon is really good.

Many thanks,
Mike

AFAIK the Page Thumbnail attribute had been only added to 5.7… are you using a custom attribute or something coming from another addon?

in 5.6 the legacy way to pull the thumbnail is to have it added in a specific place of the page (first image block of the page), and I thought that was pretty ugly, so I added the attribute…

can you explain a bit more your problem here?

Thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense now. I have two attributes called 'Page Thumbnail' and they must have been added by addons, I thought one of them was part of the core.

I'm happy to use your attribute, it's not a problem. I'm just making a couple of templates to display things slightly differently and very pleased with how it is looking.

I won't link you to the page now because it will move somewhere else in due course (I'm working on it in an admin area of my site) but I'll return here and show you the outcome when I'm finished (will be few days).

Thank you!
Mike
