You can make custom templates for Menu Maker, just like you would for any C5 Block, but AutoNav templates would not work.

Now i understand that this add-on doesn't create custom submenus, but it is an one level customizable page list.

You can create single level menus by selecting the specific pages you want in the menu and sorting them in any order you want. There are options to display as vertical or horizontal, it ignores the exclude from nav attribute. It's great for making little menus for footers and sidebars
