I tried half dozen photo/image sliders - whale nivo slider produced the exact results I wanted with ease.

I replaced the old buggy slider on my homepage with the whale nivo slider ( I love the bar theme option)

The only problem is the slide and box effects are not working on safari (works on firefox, puffin, and chrome did not check IE)

Great Job!!!

Easily installed and very easy to demonstrate to users. The css was easily customised also. A great free add-on.

Excellent Image Slider

Found it super easy to use. So many great options. One question though - how come there is no slide in top and slide in bottom slide?

Easy to install and customized my css with ease.
One thing I need to try out and hope it works, would it possible to make the description area accept html? Just like this textarea I typed this message on. I need to reposition the whole caption so I can display a full intro with paragraphs on each slide. Client needs the area updatable so I thought maybe if I can have that I could control the output via CSS.

Thanks in advance.

usefull all around

I find this add on very usefull: Not only it's so easy to install and update, but it's also very easy to use as a block. It offers so many slide/effect options that it should be enough.

Maybe little areas for improvement:
- When I updated from the previous to the 1.0.3 version, I lost my adjustments. Please keep userdefined CSS in place (and working... if possible).
- Search the CSS subdirs for user css, so that the user does not need to add them to the code manually.
- JS / css: Hover does not show the navigation arrows in my adjusted css theme anymore even though I only removed the shadow and - of course - copied it to a new name.

Still: This will be the first slider I will be looking at when I need one (now and in the future again)! Thanks a lot.

Works Great!

I struggled for over two months with another slider I purchased. All I needed was to add a background to the control nav. I downloaded this slider and in 2 minutes I had it working. So glad I made the switch. Thank you!

Used this on my new theme, Derwen, and didn't need to adjust a thing to make it look good on my page. Easy to use and works perfectly. Thanks very much!

the best

I tried 4 other free sliders but this one is the only one working without any glitches, alignining itself correctly inside the div and being customizable to the point when there is nothing on the slideshow but the images, which is exactly what I was loooking for.

Two possible improvements imho:
- Make it work with file sets instead of individual files
- Change the "Control Nav" option text into something more intuitive like "Nav bullets" or similar, that would indicate what exactly is enabled or disabled

No biggies either of them though, so cheers for the super-super work!
