Track names?
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,
Is there a way to input the tracks' name so that it shows in the player instead of "track#1"?
Also, is there a way to change the players' colours, as in the WP version?
Thanks in advance for any answer,
Mikołaj

ID tags? Pardon my lameness, but where can I find them?
When you create the Mp3 you can specify things like track name, album, artist, genre etc. This information is stored 'inside' the mp3 file and displayed when you use things like iTunes or indeed any mp3 or media player.
I tried this in iTunes and it doesn't work. When I imported the song, it still says "track #1". Is there any way just to remove the "Track #1" in the coding all together?
You need an audio editing program. A great shareware program is Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/).
Audacity doesn't have mp3 support built-in. You have to add the Lame library. Seehttp://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/plugins....
Once you have Audacity and the Lame library installed, you can open any existing audio file and export it as an .mp3. The export dialog displays fields for track name, artist, etc.

I have another version not yet complete that supports configuration of various colour options. I'll release this version soon.
