API Key
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I've just purchased this add on, installed it but it does not work. The standard youtube black works fine.
I wondering whether the API is assigned correctly or something?

Thanks for the reply, yes it does work with an existing video. So I will have to draw a blank and use the standard embed code from youtube which does work.
That is very strange. It generally takes less than 15 mins to convert/process the vid once it's uploaded to YouTube. There may have been a processing issue on YT. Either try again tomorrow or try uploading the vid again. If you want to pm me the vid URL I'll take a look.
Oh I forgot to mention pleaseake sure the viddeo is notaries s private, otherwise it won't be accessible via the api.
Sorry for the terrible spelling. Nasty autocomplete on the iPhone.
Yeah sorry the replay made no sense to me, but have tried public unlisted and private and the videos won't load?
maybe try these links:

The explain how to set a video to "public" on YouTube.
The only other possible cause is a Javascript error caused by another block on your website and that's preventing the video from loading correctly.
A couple other things to test:
1) Try changing the theme of that page to something else and see if that affects the video. If so, there must be an issue with the template.
2) Try adding the video to a blank page with no other blocks. If it works, then there must be another block on the same page that's conflicting with it or producing an error.
Hope this helps.

The block works very reliably. You do not need to change anything as far as the API - it's all taken care of for you.
Just try testing it with another video. I've seen in one other case, a user tried to link up a brand new video that had not finished the conversion process to Flash (on YouTube's end). So test it with an existing video (not a new one) and if it still doesn't work, please PM me the direct URL and I'll look into it.
