Instagram feed in social links and social life

Hi,
My client is requesting an instagram link and feed on the site. I really like how they are implemented for other social media in this theme. Are there plans to implement instagram to the list of services in the plugins?
I was digging through the social links folder and wondered if I just duplicate everything and call it instagram and add a logo to the sprite sheet if that would simply take care of it.

Hey,
No worries.
For the social links I tried copying all components and just naming it instagram. But, It would not write to the database or store the weblink so I reverted it to stock.
I was able to get an instagram link though by using the foursquare spot and just changing the icon in the png file as well as the name that appears when you hover the icon.
Seems to be working sufficiently!

we could not support you with this. Re social life, that's a much more
complex proposition involving API authentication. I doubt it is possible
to duplicate components of the package and reuse for Instagram.
