PB Post page type doesn't work correctly
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have your Foundation 5 theme installed, however we decided to use your Alpha theme instead. F5 comes with a Page Type of pb_post (handle). I have installed ProBlog and there are a number of problems and issues, and it appears to be because of this page type, which forced THEIR pb_post page type to not be installed.
So I essentially need to uninstall Pro Blog and then remove your F5 pb_post pagetype and then reinstall pro-blog to safely resolve the problem.
Bottom line question--the F5 theme also came with several add-ons, some of which I am using. When I remove the F5 theme, will it remove the add-ons, causing issues? If not, can I just uninstall the F5 theme?

If you uninstall the theme, it will remove any add-ons installed as part of the theme package. You should probably try to delete the page type then install the problog package. We can't help you any further on this one.
Also these are not 'pre-sale' tickets, please not register them as such, and your support period expired about 7 months ago.
I am not submitting as pre-sales. When I go the marketplace the only option is "Get Help", it says nothing about what forum I am submitting under.
Also, where is the support period listed? And how do we get continued support for the theme? What are the options?

Disregard--I see where that is supposed to be now, my mistake. This has just recently changed--the whole interface has.
See attached. So you want a "General Discussion" Post, versus sales? That is the only selection I see under Get Help.
Why can't you help further though? The theme provided a Pro Blog page type that is causing Pro Blog to not work correctly.
I agree the system interface has changed recently, but the support policy has always been 30 days for paid-for themes and add-ons.
We try where we can help people out beyond that period, and we're certainly never strictly 30 days, but this is purely on a goodwill basis.
We've answered a good number your support requests - and recently - all on a goodwill basis, since I think you assigned these licenses about 7 months back - the reason I think, you don't get a raise a support ticket option under the new system. We have to draw the line somewhere I'm afraid. I really hope you don't think we are being unreasonable.
This issue with the your page type is not 'our page type, causing Pro Blog not to work correctly'.
We built that at the request of the Pro Blog package developer. It works fine.
The issue is that you have the page type installed from one theme package (Foundation), but are not using that theme - you want to use the Alpha theme - so none of the CSS assets etc provided by the Foundation theme/package are there to support it.
I suggested you remove the page type from your sites dashboard, and then try install the Pro Blog package again, which will probably help, since you'll be using the Pro Blog package's page type. But, once you've done that, there's no custom page type provided for that package in the Alpha theme (there's no requirement for there to be), so how it looks is how it looks.
We charge GBP50 per hour for our time, but we don't get involved in supporting customer projects, as that impacts the time we have for building new themes and add-ons.
