Hi

here the error message when I want to update anitya:

rename(D:\home\site\wwwroot/packages/theme_anitya,D:\home\site\wwwroot/application/files/trash/theme_anitya_20150904222615): Access is denied. (code: 5)

Could you help me?

Ouups the issue seems not coming from Anitya.
But it seems that you have wrong permission on the package folder ?
Can you place the package manually on this folder and try again ?

They are no updated package. You need to chmod the package folder (containing anitya) to put right permissions on it.

Azure support get the solution. There a problem with your code and it is not a chmod trouble.

I'm really disapointed that you did not even trying to help me.

I think you should see with Azure to teach you how you have to code you product....

Hi,

I'm really sorry, it is not that a provide a bad support, cause 99% of client are satidfied of the support, it's about some thread like this that is missed from the list of thing to follow. I would really help you.
But your issue seems really strange. Anitya work on hundred of server without ANY problem. On your installation you meet a issue and you can't write me any details on the error.
I don't know who is Azure and who to contact.

As the last thread is from September 30, it was on very bottom of the list and i doesn't check to this, i'm sorry. Can you remove the review that to not refer to the reality but to a very particular case that is your. I'm sorry for that.

here the case study from Azure Microsoft:

Case Summary
Problem Description Sent:
Got "Access is denied" error for installing Anitya theme on Concrete5 site.

Our Findings:
There is bug in Anitya theme code, file path format does not work on Windows and Azure environment.

Action Taken:
- Create a file “normalizepath.php” under “wwwroot/updates/concrete5.7.5.1_remote_updater/concrete/src/Package”.
- Included and use normalizepath function to correct path format. Installation is successful.

Did you meet this error only with Anitya? Did you have tested to install other packages ?
