Adding a Tileable Background Image

Axis allows for background images to be added to the header, main, footer and top bar sections of the site, quickly and easily using the already preinstalled custom attributes.

• Log in to your site
• Navigate to the page you wish to add a background to
• Click on "Properties" which can be found by hovering over the "Edit" tab in the C5 tool bar
• Click "Custom Attributes"
• Choose the relevant attribute "Header Background Image" to place one in the header for example
• Now either select one of six preinstalled images from your file manager or upload one of your own
• Once you have hit "Save" refresh your page

Change the Orientation of Your Navigation

Axis has both a "Horizontal" and "Vertical" navigation page type. To change the page type follow these simple instructions.

• Log in to your site
• If you have not already done so, install the extra page types for the Axis theme (Horizontal and Vertical) by going to "Dashboard" > "Themes" > "inspect".
• Once these page types are installed you can simply navigate to the page you wish to change and click "Design" from under the "Edit" menu in the C5 tool bar.
• Select either "Horizontal" or "Vertical" and click "Save"

Please note both the Horizontal and Vertical page types contain the options for a "Left Sidebar", "Right Sidebar" and "Full Width" layout.
