With the update from concrete5 8.5.2 to 8.5.4, I can no longer change the design. ..

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Thank you for always telling me.
No items are displayed even after customizing "Page setting" → "Design" → "Theme" after updating concrete5 8.5.2 → 8.5.4.
It reacts with the gear mark, but it remains a dark color.
I tried it on multiple sites but it was the same.
The themes that are happening are Genesis Theme and Brimstone Theme.
It doesn't happen when you return to elemental.

I heard that there is no reply from the theme author.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you.

Hi,

I apologise for the late response.

It seems to be working for me but I am testing locally. I will keep investigating.

For now, since its not working for you, I can only offer you a refund

Thank you very much.
Please investigate before refunding.
Can't you find out what is wrong with the theme due to the difference between 8.5.2 and 8.5.4?
It seems to be happening in all of your themes.
Thanking you in advance.

The Genesis theme seems to have a new version, but please fix Brimstone as well.
When will it be?

I applied Brimstone Theme version 2.1.7 to the site where 8.5.4 was newly installed and the site where 8.5.2 was updated to 8.5.4, but the symptom did not improve and Page Setting → Design → Blank.

Although the error is not displayed even if the debug setting is made, the status is as follows in Report → Log.

2020/06/30 9:16:27 Exception 8353410 Exception occurred: /home/●●●●/●●●● .com/public_html/test/concrete/views/panels/page/design.php:26 Call the member function getPageTemplateID () of null (0)

Thank you.

I've found out how to get rid of the problem.
1. Install the Brimstone Theme only on the new concrete5 8.5.4 site and click "Are you sure you want to clear this site?" → "Reset site contents with package contents." (OK)
2. If you install Brimstone Theme or Genesis Theme on the new concrete5 8.5.4 site and change the theme, the design changes will be blank.
It is the same situation even if you delete unnecessary Theme. (NG)
3.concrete5 Even if I install either Brimstone Theme or Genesis Theme to the site updated to 8.5.4, the design becomes blank. (NG)

From the above, it seems that there is a high possibility that a new concrete5 site will work normally but a site that is in operation will have a problem.
Rebuilding the site each time the concrete5 body is upgraded is very time-consuming and difficult.
We ask you to understand the situation and ask for improvement.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you.

Hi,

I apologise for the problems. Did you start with sample content when you first created your site? Did you change/edited any of the themes files? And lastly, why was mixins.less missing from your theme directory? I want to know the steps you took to build your site so I can determine if this can be solved with a theme update.

The reason why mixins.less was not uploaded is unknown, but it has been resolved by re-uploading.
Is there anything wrong?
See also the previous comment.
Replacing the content will improve it, but it will break the site.

Hi,

Its hard to fix the issue you have because I am not able to reproduce it. But based on the error message you provided, it looks like the page ID is missing? It means that the page you are trying to edit doesnt exist? So can you try, creating a new page and moving the components of the old page to the new one.

If issue persist, the best I could do is offer a refund

Can you reproduce it?
Did you update concrete5 from 8.5.2 to 8.5.4 and tried it?
Other users have been told by the Genesis theme, but every time you change the theme or update concrete5, you will have to replace the site.
Can't the cause be investigated?
Thank you.

I updated the Brimstone theme from 2.1.6 to 2.1.7 after updating concrete5 8.5.2 to 8.5.4 on the last remaining one site, but the design changes are still blank.

In my case, I had upgraded to concrete5 8.5.4 and that's when it broke. I did a clean install of concrete5 8.4.5 and it the themes work fine. Brimstone and Genesis both work fine with a clean install.

Question... now that I have a clean install, can you point me in the direction of migrating my database of 'content' that is on my upgraded site to the clean install? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Formal Refund Request: Please grant me a refund for the license assigned to this support request.

There are also slanderous slanders from innocent users.
Genesis and Brimstone would also like to request a refund.
Thank you for your consideration.
