Hi ruppmar,
Can you disable the ‘Strict Mode’ in MySQL on the server of your website? Let me know if this solves the installation issue of the Cosmos theme.
Best regards,
Neil

Hello Neil,
Thanks for responding so quickly. Tried to find a way to disable strict mode using phpmyadmin but haven't been able to do so far. If you would happen to have a tutorial to do so, I would appreciate it highly.
By the way, I have setup a new instance with of concrete 5 with cosmos theme, latest php version 7.3.15 but still no success.
As said, if you could provide a way to disable strict mode, it would be highly helpful.
thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,
Are you running your own MySQL server? If not, you may need to ask your ISP to do it for you.
The following gives a bit more information on doing it yourself.

Let me know how you get on.
Kind regards
Rob

Hi Martin,
Your ISP may not want to disable strict mode, but it is possible in maria-db and the methodology is the same as that of MySQL.
https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/mariadb-10-2-disabling-strict-mode...
At the moment, we don't have a quick solution, but I have raised a support issue with our team to amend this in the next release. In the mean time, if you are unable to disable strict mode or find an ISP willing to support your C5 installation, we would be happy to refund you.
Please request the refund via link at the top of this page.
Kind regards
Rob

I had this same issue. Temporarily disabling strict mode worked. This should be fixed!

May I ask what version of concrete5 are you using and what PHP version is the website running?
