Purchase Cosmos Theme

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, i would like to purchase the cosmos theme for c5 v7.x.

We develop on our intranet server and then push it to the actual webhost. But from your documentation, i see there is only a 5 day window for that to happen ? We would need at least 30-60 days before we get permission to publish live to the webhost.

How ?

Hi, Can you provide me with the link to the documentation? I don't believe there is a set limit for pushing themes live. The theme license is bounded to the domain name and I think it can be changed on your C5 account.

Hi. I can confirm that you should not experience any problem with moving the site from a staging server to the live server regardless of the window. Many of our customers maintain a "staging/development" version externally from their live site.

Please can you let me know where you saw that limitation, as I'd like to remove it if possible. i was not aware of any limit of this type.

@datasouth, thanx for the speedy reply.

1. After installing concrete5 v7, we wanted to add your theme through the dashboard. When we clicked buy, a small windows pops up to purchase with terms and conditions such as;

5 day window, etc.

So our problem is ;

a. Our development server is named: devsvr.intranet.net ( accesible within the LAN only )
b. Once site is developed, we upload to the client's webhost ,http://www.clientname.com ( accessible in the general Internet )
c. If there are any changes done to the site, its done at the development server and only then applied to the live site.

So the theme license needs to allow that. Does your theme allow that. Note that the developement server DOES NOT have a FQDN.

The theme does not reference any hardcoded or locked fqdn's so you can run it as localhost, 127.0.0.1 or any other domain that you wish to use.

Will you guys help, if we get locked to the domain of our development server and we cannot transfer to the webhost ?

You won't get locked to the domain of your development server, but if you need our help, we will certainly help you to get any problems resolved.
