On mobile, when i tap a menu item of the horizontal top navigation (Datasouth Menu template), the sub menu items do expand and stay expanded until an item is tapped.
How could i achieve the same behaviour for the desktop, where currently submenu items are only expanded as long as the main menu item is hovered by the mouse pointer?

In other words, what i want to have is that sub menu items stay expanded until an item is clicked - the same way as it works on touch sceens.
