Portfolio page - nice gallery block

Hi,

I am trying to sell your "Elegancia" theme and the client is kind of hooked on the overlay popup gallery you are using on your demo page.

How is this accomplished and is it something that we could supply to the client?

Hi Michael

Yes this is something you can achieve easily, the theme is all set up for the lightbox display, it uses a free add-on.

All the details of how to set it up and which add-on to use can be found in the tutorial video "setting up your portfolio page" which can be found here:

OK, Thanks.

Another thing our client an I have discussed is, How about pictures in the responsive theme. How is it that they are not resizing according to a responsive theme (reference in themes build by the bootstrap framework). and how about a responsive slideshow for the "home" page?

We really like your work, but it seems that it is not totally finished. Is this something that will come in future versions?

Hi Michael,

The static images in Elegancia do resize according to screen size, if you go onto the demo site and look at the blog page the static images will resize as you drag the viewport smaller.

The slideshow is just the standard Concrete5 slideshow which is quite basic and uses CSS background images to display the images on, it does not actually use images in the true sense, therefore its impossible to get the standard slider to be responsive, as there are a multitude of different sliders available on the marketplace both free and paid which are responsive, the slider on elegancia can be easily replaced. We are as a team looking at solutions for responsive sliders to use in our themes on an ongoing basis.

As for our themes not being "finished" we adhere to the coding and submission standards set out by Concrete5, and all our themes are appraised by an independent panel of our peers (The PRB) who scrutinise a theme for its functionality, if a theme or add-on is fundamentally broken it will never see the light of day as it will not be approved for sale. I hope that helps to put your mind at rest.
