Upgrade to Version 5.7.5.1 failed

Hi there

I was trying to do an upgrade to version 5.7.5.1 which has failed, giving me the following error:

"Table btequinoxsection already exists", which is strange, because there is a table called "btEquinoxSection" but not "btequinoxsection".
So I reverted back to version 5.7.4.1 which is fine.

Please tell me what to do to make an upgrade to the latest version possible

Hi there, this is not an error we can replicate unfortunately. We have tested this theme in the latest version 5.7.5.1 and it works as intended. It sounds like you have an issue with upgrading concrete5 in general.

No because on other sites I haven't got this problem. But thank you for the quick reply anyway.

I believe there is no direct upgrade path from 5.7.4.2 to 5.7.5.1 so are you trying to do this manually by uploading the 5.7.5.1 directory to your root updates folder?

Have you already built your site using Equinox i.e. do you have content already added that you need to keep. If not, then I would suggest starting with a fresh install.

The table you have mentioned in your error message is a block from the package but I am not clear as to why upgrading your conrete5 install would have any effect on that table, it is most odd.

There is an upgrade path fro 5.7.4.2 to 5.7.5.1 and I tried both ways, also by just uploading the concrete folder, renaming it, etc. See here:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/how-to-ma...

The site is live since a few month, so I think I just don't touch it!
Also there are a few overrides in the application folder but I really don't see why that should have any effect on your theme.
BTW, I think that 5.7.5.1 was not really ready to be released.... So I stay at version 5.7.4.2 and we'll see what the future brings. ;-)

Please do NOTworry about this issue!
As soon as I have some spare time, I'll install your theme on a fresh local installation of 5.7.5.1 and I'll get back to you, ok?

So, I installed locally a fresh copy of c5 v5.7.51 and installed your theme v 1.0.1 without any problems!

Now, the question is, if I install the version 1.01 on the site making problems without clearing content, what risk do I have by doing so? And Is there a chance that the version 1.0.1 is less making problems than v1.0?

Upgrading the theme to the latest version will not change your content - however it is best to take a back up of the site before doing so.

We can not see any issue as to why a theme would effect the upgrading of concrete5.

As I said, the error must be somewhere else. I just wanted to assure you that the issue isn't one by installing a fresh copy.
