Editing Multimedia Projects Blocks

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am just starting to work with Concrete5, so please forgive my ignorance.

The Projects Blocks in the Frame theme live in an area that says "Projects disabled in edit mode". Where do I edit/manipulate the "Projects" blocks? I have tried new-projects, but that seems to be something completely different.

Do you have a tutorial on your template?

Thank you so much.

Hi there,

Yes, the project block is disabled in edit mode, as in, it does not display the projects view - it is still however editable in the same way as a regular block.

In edit mode click on the block and select 'Edit Block'. The interface is similar to the concrete5 core 'Page List' block.

If you have started from the 'Agency' starting point then you will already have a 'Work' page with several child 'Project' pages.

Each of these 'Projects' use the 'Project' page type and template. You can either add more 'Projects' via your sitemap and/or edit the pre-existing ones.

If you take a look at the attributes of one of the pre-existing project pages you should see what data is required for each new project.

I hope this helps.
