Clean Install Fail

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I tried to do a mostly clean install. Only the Element Theme was installed and a couple of favicon files.

When I went to install the Framework Theme, under Swap Site Contends I chose "Yes, Reset site content with the content found in this package" The result was "An unexpected error occurred. Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 726001 bytes)"

I don't understand perfectly what the error message means, however the site was complete wiped and the Home page will formatted with the "Areas" but without any content.

Where do I go from here?

Hi

Thanks for using my theme. :)

I think I provided support to someone with the same issue sometime ago. The error message basically means that your site has exhausted the memory limit of your server. To fix, try asking your hosting provider to bump up the memory limit from 128mb to a higher number. You can also view this setting on the environment info in the dashboard.

I hope this made sense. Please let me know if you need more assistance.

Kind regards,
James

OK, cool, thanks for the reply. I was trying to re-create the Framework Live Demo page and couldn't figure out what "area" and what block to I put the "moving trees video."

Ah ok. You can add that using the custom attribute. Put your site on edit mode and go to settings. Click Attributes and look for page background. You can add a video file here, preferably mp4 format. Save and you should see the background image on the homepage. By the way, use the homepage pagetype.

Kind regards,
James
