Full Page 'C5box Parallax'

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi There,

I wanted to add the Parralax banner to a services page i have created. However, without making it global, i cant add it and make it full page width. Unlike the home page it goes half the size to fit the content. Is it possible to make it full page width?

Kind Regards
Ian

Hi Ian,

Thanks for using my theme.

Unfortunately, the parallax block only works on specific areas (full width areas) you see on the homepage and the full page type. The best solution should be to change the page type of your services page to the full page type and add the parallax on one of the areas. Although, you may need to re-create the layouts for your content using the "add layout" option when you right click the area.

I hope everything I said made sense. :)
Let me know if you need further help.

Kind regards,
James

Hi James,

Thanks for getting back to me. Not a problem doing it that way but i think i''m missing something? I just created a new page in Full and any option that offers full page, detailed in the attached picture, seems to go global and end up on every page. Is there something to stop that?

Kind Regards
Ian

Hi Ian,

Sorry about that. After checking my files, I realised I miscoded some of the areas. I hope this didnt cause you too much trouble.

I've uploaded version 1.6.0.2 with the fix.

Please update your theme and it should work properly.

Kind regards,
James

Hi James,

Thanks for sorting that out for me. Really appreciate it. The only problem left is it has added a search bar which i can't seem to remove. As you can tell i'm not great at all of this and it's probably an easy fix but help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Ian :)

HI Ian,

No problem at all. Sorry it took me some time to reply.

Thats strange. The search bar can be removed by just clicking on the block and selecting delete/remove. Have you tried clearing your cache.

Let me know if you figured it out. If not, I may need to get inside your site to check/fix it.

Kind regards,
James

Hi Ian,

Ah. I've experienced this myself after updating the theme but can be fixed by clearing cache and setting cache settings to off. Also try viewing it on a different browser to see if its not the browser thats caching it.

Hopefully taht fixes it. But let me know if it still persists.

Regards,
James

Hey James,

I posted a support query for Framework January 20; you might not have seen it. I'm using Framework for a paintball website (I've purchased your theme for multiple sites and love it). The parallax box on the home page isn't working correctly. (Unless I'm in edit mode). The image doesn't show up until the parallax box is about to exit the top of the browser while scrolling. Please advise. Thanks.

Jeff
