How to get bg images left/right from the main areas?

Hi There,
How to get bg images left/right from the main areas?
If I had a wish free, then I would wish me a documentation with a drawing from the theme layout with area naming and link to the related customizing options (incl. names) of all the funny staff I'm always searching again and try out, because it's not well documented.
Please not every body is using concrete5 since 5 years, so for newbes like me is very hard to get it right and in a short time done.

See the red doted areas (attachment). How to get a background picture there (behind te content in the middle). Because if I change the area design from the middle content I get only bg picture behind the content but not out side of the boxed content.

Hi Danny,
Unfortunately, this theme does not work like that. You'd have to specifically tie a background image to the body tag to achieve what you need. Let me know if you need help with the CSS.

Sorry I don't quite understand the question. Can you explain it to me more? Screenshots of the issue would also help.
