Install update extension - any risk involved?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I saw that you launched an update to the framework theme.
Can I install this update without any risk? I mean, will the customizations that I've made to the website (and to the theme itself) be untouched and remain as they are?

Thanks,

Hi,

As long as the changes you were not on a file level then its fine. But if it was, then all of those will be wiped and replace by the update. Pretty handy to place your site on a subversion before updating to revert the files you need as necessary.

James
