I can't seem to remove the background image from the banner, there doesn't seem to be an option to clear it. See attached image.

If you select Choose new file is there not an option in the file manager to clear it
No there isn't unfortunately... seems to be ok for most other areas, except for Banner. Anyway to fix?
I ended up just deleting the image from the library and that did it. However now there is a grey background colour which I cannot remove from the customise area?? Happy to PM you login details if required.

Was there a solution to this? Is a background image required? In my local test, I also tried to remove several of the background images (like header and main) from customize Fundamental/Arizona theme. When I go to- header the default image is pattern.png, you cannot clear it. I changed the image, save and after >saving page< the clear/options are not there, you must choose a new image. Is this part of C5 or the theme?
Looking at this it appears to be a bit of a bug/quirk in concrete5. If you go back in to your design options and select the background image icon and then hit save without selecting an image, this should remove the image.
Thanks, I would have never thought to delete it... save it. That goes against my finger's muscle memory.
Certainly a little bit of a strange approach - hopefully concrete5 will rectify this soon.
