Change top / branding areas from sitewide to regular area?

Hi,
Is it possible to change one of the sitewide areas (either "branding" or "top section") to not be sitewide? I basically want to place an image in one of these areas which should be different on each page, if that makes sense?

Whilst it is possible - this is not something that we can support unfortunately, as we do not support modifications to our themes.
Fair enough, I understand your position here. Can you consider this a feature request and provide both site-wide and non-site-wide areas in the branding section?
