Deleted content in Sitewide Header Nav Alt but won't go away

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I had a red button to COVID-19 information, a text block below it and then a client toolbar stack block. I deleted the text block and the button block, and none are visible in the edit view. I published changes and it does not tell me my page needs published. I also cleared the cache, but the button is still on the web page in live view when not logged in. If I am logged in it is gone, so I cannot see it to remove it. Not sure what to do. Love the template, great flexibility!

So I figured it out! I had a stack in the sitewide area (Header Nav Alt). When I deleted the item in the page edit, I did not go to the global area and publish from there. Once I published it all worked perfectly!

Problem solved...

This sounds very much a known bug in concrete5 where by various 'areas' can become out of sync.

This is not a theme specific issue as such.

To remedy this try the following...

Add a new content block to the affected area. Save & publish.

Then remove the content black. Save & publish once more.

This normally resets the area and brings it back in sync.
