Question on starting points pages in fundamental thems

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I'm an experienced HTML5/JavaScript/PHP Developer but new to Concrete5.

Purchased Fundamental Theme Installed on site OK and beginning to learn Concrete.

I must be missing something something fairly basic in that I cannot find any information on how to create a new page and get it loaded with your sample starting points pages.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated

Thanks

Ron

You get access to the starting points at installation of the package. So if you did not allow select a starting point and allow the full content swap this will not be setup by default.

Hope that helps you

Is there anyway to go back through the installation process and select a starting point option?

Hi Sorry there isn't. The options are presented at install only. So you would have to reinstall.

The starting point methods trigger a full content swap so even trying to load/run the routines is some way would reset the entire site content - so no different from reinstalling.

I reinstalled the theme package, selected a starting point and cleared the content, and it still didn't work. My old content was still on my webpage and I had no access to the starting point that I selected. Do you have any advice going forward?

Hello, I've installed the theme and added all of the content using "Arizona" starting theme. The client now wants to switch to "Oregon" starting point but retain the content as-is. Please advise.

When I changed the sitewide theme to "Oregon" only certain elements were changed, but the navigation and logo did not.

As above, starting points are available at package installation. It is not possible to combine existing content with a starting point.

I have this same exact problem and need help.
Part of the only reason I was willing to pay $50 was in order to get starting point content.
