Sitemap + Infinite Loading

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello Friends ::

Gorgeous theme you've built here. Thank you!

I'm seeing an odd thing where the Full Site Map doesn't load in the dashboard or in blocks for making site links.

Also, while in the dashboard, the loading bar and spinning wheel never full complete loading. Judging by the progress bar, it gets to ~98% and does not progress.

Any thoughts here?

I don't believe this sounds like an issue with the theme as such as the dashboard is core concrete5 functionality. I know there was a bug in concrete5 relating to the newsflow that displays wen you log in to the site, this could be your problem.

Luckily, we have a white label options page under the fundamental theme options dashboard page which lets you turn the news feed off. Try that and see if that resolves your problem.

Brilliant!

I hadn't gotten around to whitelabeling yet, and this solved the progress/loading issue.

Still having trouble with the Full Sitemap loading in PHP7. The Flat View loads as expected.

Full sitemap loads in PHP56, but the progress/loading issue returns.

Showing some screenshots of the sitemap issue in PHP7 view.

That's an odd one. You may be best posting this question in the general concrete5 forums as the theme does not control the sitemap. There seems to be some incompatibility between your install and PHP version.

I'm seeing the exact same problems. Just in the site using this theme. So i guess it is theme related. Could you please investigate?

If one of you could private message us your site URL and login so we can take a quick look?

Strange if is theme related as the theme does not interact with the sitemap.

In both cases, I have logged in to the websites and temporarily switched the theme to the default concrete5 'Elemental' theme - the sitemap issue remained which brings me to a conclusion that the error is not originating from the theme.

There is nothing in the theme package that would interact with the website like this and I assume there is some issue server side with some incompatibility with concrete5...

Hey thanks for the quick action! I'll look further for a solution on this problem.

I noticed it is not possible anymore to run the index search engine also after updating to 8.1.0. So i guess you are right and something concrete5 related is bugging here.

If someone has a suggestion for me to check out concerning this problem, please let me know!

Although it might not be just the theme, it did only start happening to me after installing Fundamental.

I worked around it by doing:
Dasboard \ Fundamental Theme Settings \ White Label \ News Overlay Enabled: DISABLE

Thanks to @c5Hub for the hint.

On 8.2.1 with PHP 5.6, I had no problems with the sitemap.
