Theme not updating and changing colours in Nav

I am running V1.0.4 and need to change the background colour (which I remember setting) to the AutoNav as the client has changed his colour scheme. Can't find it anywhere for the life of me. I notice that quite a few posts have referenced a Customise option which does not appear to be anywhere either.

I am not getting an option to upgrade which may be part of the problem along with frequent error messages (I will post on this thread when I get the next) followed by Compare Versions which are all the same.

All the color setting are managed from the design > customize options; this is native functionality:

Page versions are not controlled by themes. This is core functionality that is controlled by concrete5.

As for being able to upgrade the theme... later versions require more up to date versions of concrete5 then it looks like you are running. For instance our latest version (3.0.5) require concrete5 5.7.5.
