Upgrading from 5.6 to 5.7 Domain Placeholder

Permalink Browser Info Environment
My website OmahaMovesHere.com is currently on 5.6.3. From reading it has become obvious that I cannot simply update but have to move everything manually from one version to the other.

Unless this is not the case and I can simply upgrade I want to know if I would be able to purchase this and build on another domain, whatever.com, then move the entire folder onto OmahaMovesHere.com when complete?

This upgrade appears to be a huge PIA which was nothing to do with you but made everything obsolete. The longer I wait the worse it will get because I post blogs.

Thank you for your help and advice.

There is no direct upgrade from 5.6 to 5.7. You would be best rebuilding your site if you wish to use the latest versions.

As far as we are aware you can re-assign/move licenses across domains although you would be best checking with conrete5 if you are unsure, we have no control over licensing.
