No styling on theme after installation + stacks

Permalink Browser Info Environment
After installing theme <automatically> (not manual upload & install), the stacks were created. Following the documentation, I added content to the two stacks. However, only text appears, in black text on white background. Changing the theme, content has styling again. Change theme back to Gratitude, back to black on white only.

Have cleared cache in C5 and browser, with no change.

Hello Tom,

Sorry for your inconvenience.

If I am not wrong your point is that when you change theme all your settings gone and you need to set again. Right?

As right now I am on tour I haven't laptop so will give answer after tomorrow. And if you need refund then let me know. I don't mind. I will give.

Regards,
Rajesh

I had made no "settings" for the theme, but the sample content of newly installed C5 version 5.6.3.2 shows only black text on white background using Gratitude, but shows normally styled content when changing to a stock theme. Changing back to Gratitude (even after clearing C5 cache and browser cache), again only black text on white background WITHOUT any layout or styling. Screenshot was included in original post. Thanks.

I have seen your website...

You had paste code in normal view instead of HTML view.. see screenshots... you have to paste content in HTML Mode then save block...

All code you have paste in content editor directly...

Yes, pasting in HTML mode fixes the problem --- thanks. I looked over the documentation without finding that mentioned, but it does make sense.

I'm on my way now, to a simple but visually appealing site...
