How do I remove 'responsiveness' from the theme?
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi there,
I've used your Grounds theme for a client's website purebalanceltd.com and they have complained that the mobile version of the site is too difficult to navigate on an iphone.
How can I remove the 'responsiveness' from the site ? I've commented out all the '@media only screen and (min-width:768px)' media queries but the 'mobile' site navigation button still shows when the screen size is less than 768px.
I thought it would be a simple case of commenting out all your media queries in iGotstyle.css - any idea why this does not work?
What is the easiest way to make the theme 'non-responsive' when screen size is <768px ?
thanks in advance,
pete@pmlmedia

Thanks Michael - I think I solved this last night without having to remove responsiveness, I'm waiting to hear back from the client!
Problem was that the mobile version of the site's main navigation was showing too many pages [top level nav + 1 sub level]. I ended up using two nav bars: one navigation without any drop down/sub cats on the mobile version of the nav bar and the full nav bar with drop down when the site is viewed >768.
thanks for your help!

So, why hide the pages? Can't you scroll down the right side to view all of the pages when the nav is opened?
Taking just the media queries out won't do it alone. In addition to that, you'll also need to set somewhere below the grid CSS something like
That should help. Or, that may be the start.
