Is Upgrade from 5.6 to 5.7 Smooth?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am currently running Hi-Vis on Concrete 5.6. If I upgrade to 5.7 and purchase/install new Hi-Vis is it seamless upgrade?

How do I go about doing it without losing anything?

Hi there,

I'm afraid as Concrete.org states, there is no direct upgrade path from 5.6 to 5.7 regardless of what theme you use.

What that means is you can't just upgrade the CMS, you need to start with a fresh install of 5.7 which means building your pages again.

There are some migration tools by third parties in the works but I'm not how mature or reliable they are:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9lzs2C88-s...
