Background Slider Template - alt tags

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, when using the Background Slider Template that comes as part of the theme, is there a way to enter Title information for each slide that shows as an alt tag in the page source (for SEO purposes) but does not display as an overlay on the image slider?

I assume this maybe a modification to the view.php - but my knowledge is limited.

I've discovered a similar thread on the general forums which deals with the standard image slider, but this method does not appear to work for me using the background template.

Thanks.

Hi,

you can modify the template files located under:

/packages/theme_long_story_short/blocks/image_slider/templates/background_slider

Or you can copy that folder into your application folder (so you're not modifying the package files directly):

/application/blocks/image_slider/templates/background_slider

Either way, make sure to clear the cache or disable the cache in the "Cache & Speed Settings", or you may not see the changes.

Hope this helps,
