As for your questions:
-> Google Fonts: if you click on the Gear Icon in the toolbar, you'll be able to access the Page Attributes. There you'll find the "Google Fonts" option for you headings and body text.
-> Adding a Content Block: click on the Plus Icon in the toolbar. Then, drag and drop a Content block to one of the slides.
