Copy paste blocks

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Jordi,
I managed to copy a text block from one column, but when I try to paste it to another column or location, I can't find the way to do it. How do I access the clipboard?
Thank you,

V.

Hi,

yes, the clipboard functionality is pretty different in 5.7.

This link should help:

I see, thank you. The thing is that for the T (text) block, it only copies the content, and not the format. Usually one wants to copy everything and edit only the text... Is there a fix for that?
Thanks again.

The thing is that copying just the text is useless... What saves time is to be able to replicate format. Each time I add a text block, I need to do the background, the padding, the font-size, the border and the special effect from scratch... It would be a great relief if you could address this...

Hi,

yes, I see. It makes sense being able to copy both the content and the styles.

The clipboard is a buit-in feature in Concrete5, and I'm afraid this is how it works right now (independently of the theme you use), so it's out of my control.

However, I've submitted this as a bug, as I also think it makes more sense being able to copy both content and styles.

Hopefully the development team will fix this, I'll keep an eye on it and let you know.
