Erase slides

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I settled the slide number to 10, I have been adding stuff, and now I want to delete several of them, and I can't find the way to do it...
Thank you!

Hi,

let's say you have 10 slides and only need 5 slides.

First, rearrange the content: move all content to the first 5 slides.

Next, once the last 5 slides are empty, simply open the Page Attributes and change the "Number of Slides" attribute to 5.

Hope this helps,

Jordi

Hi,

in this theme, each slide is an area, that can contain one or more blocks.

Blocks are easy to add, move or delete in concrete5, while areas are not as easy to change.

That's why my first suggestion was to simply delete the blocks or move theme to the first slides, and then change the number of slides.

However, I understand that (if you have a lot of slides with complex layouts and you only want to delete one slide) it's not that quick.

So I've just released a new version of the theme with the option to exclude one or more slides.

If you update to the latest version of the theme, you should find a new Page Attribute called "Exclude slides". You simply need to enter the number of the slide (eg. "3") or slides (eg. "1,3,5") you want to exclude.

This is a much quicker solution, and it should be useful as well if you only want to see how the page would look without one specific slide.

Please let me know if this works for you,

Best regards,

Jordi
