Footer at the bottom of the page

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hey!

is it possible to move the footer all the way down to the bottom of the page? So it only gets visible once the user scrolls down.

thanks in advance!

Hi!

I think that the easiest solution would be:

1. Hide the default footer.

This is explained here:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/long-story-short1/tips-...

2. Add an extra slide at the end that will serve as the page footer.

You can then set a dark background color for that slide and add any content you want.

In order to change the height of that slide, I'd recommend adding a Custom Class for the slide. Simply click on the slide area, select "Edit area design", click on the Gear Icon and type "custom-footer" in the custom class box.

Then using the theme customizer add the following Custom CSS:

.custom-footer {
   min-height: 0;
}

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much! that worked!

i combined it with using Stacks and created a default layout for the Full
Page Template, so the new footer is applyed everytime a new page is
created!
