Hi Ben,

Could you send a link to your site so I can have a look?

You need to place the Slides Nav block in the "Slides Nav" area, not in the "Site Nav" area.

The "Site Nav" area is meant for adding an Auto-Nav block in case you have multiple pages.

The Slides Nav area is meant for the onpage navigation.

If you move the Slides Nav block to the Slides Nav area, the active class should work normally.

Hope this helps,

Jordi

Hi Jordi

My slides nav block design - i have changed text color as white and link color as red, but the page stayed with header navigation link texts as red, regardless which slide page I navigate to. I have tried editing the colors with different shades but the header slide navigation texts follow the 'link' color and there is no change at all.

appreciate your help again.

thanks

Hi,

if you're using the theme customizer, you should be able to customize the navigation colors by using the color pickers under the Header section (Text and Text Hover). Make sure you click on "save changes" after choosing your colors.

You can also try clearing the cache if you're not seeing the changes.

If this does not help, can you post a link to your site so I can have a look?

Hi Jordi

I'm still unable to get the header text link color change.

Instead I tweaked the website design a little by adding 2-column layout to the 1st slide (ie. homepage) which has a background image to it. And in the right column I've added "Slide-nav" blocks. They fit in the design concept I can do with to my site's content (i.e. hoover over on "China" and clicking it leads to linked slide 3 for example). However I wonder if it is possible to edit the 'hoover over color' which now has that purple tint to it - screen shot of the right side of my homepage for your reference is attached.

thanks

Hi,

the theme customizer should work fine. I've just tested it and i'm able to change the text color using the Header > Text and Header > Text Hover options. You can try disabling or clearing the cache just in case.

Anyway, you can always force the text hover color by adding this custom css:

.lss-slides-container a:hover, .lss-slides-container a:focus {
    color:  #fff !important;
}

You'll need to replace #fff with the hex color code you want.

Cheers,

Jordi
