this is a feature I was planning to add at some point.

If I have the time tomorrow, or next week maximum, I'll release a new version of the theme including this option in the Slider block interface.

Hi Maura,

I've just released the new version of the theme with Size & Cropping settings in the Slider block. You should be able to update through the dashboard.
