How to add a Image Slider?

The theme includes 3 custom templates for the Image Slider block.

To create an image slider, simply add a Image Slider block to any area in the page. Add as many images as you want, with an optional title, description and link.

To apply one of the included templates, simply click on the block and select "Design & Custom Templates". Click on the Gear Icon and choose one of the available templates:

• Long Way Home -> a simple slider with bullets or arrows.
• Long Way Home wit Thumbnails -> a slider with image thumbnails at the bottom.
• Long Way Home with Thumbnail Slider -> a slider with a thumbnail slider at the bottom.

How to change the slider transition from fade to slide?

Click on the Image Slider block and select "Design & Custom Templates". Choose the desired effect from the Custom Class dropdown (fade-effect or slide-effect).

How to use the hand-drawn icons?

The theme includes a block called "Hand-drawn Feature", which works like the default Feature block. Simply add a "Hand-drawn feature" block to the page and select one of the 235 available icons.

You will also find a custom template for the "Share this page" and the "Social Links" blocks that repalces the default icons with a hand-drawn equivalent icon.

How to add a Portfolio or a Page List?

Portfolios are built using a Page List block.

Once you've added the page list block, simply click on the block and slect "Design & Custom Templates". 

You will find 5 custom templates:

• Long Way Home Grid (grid layout with overlay effect).
• Long Way Home Grid Labels (grid layout with labels).
• Long Way Home Grid Polaroids (polaroid-style grid).
• Long Way Home Grid Polaroids 2 (polaroid-style grid with labels).
• Long Way Home Horizontal (horizontal layout for blogs and news sections).

How to add an animated filter?

To add an animated filter to a portfolio or a page list, you need 2 blocks:

1. A Page List block
2. A Topic List block

First, make sure your Page List block has the "Enable Other Blocks to Filter This Page List" option checked. You also need to use one of the following custom templates: Long Way Home Grid, Long Way Home Grid Labels, Long Way Home Grid Polaroids or Long Way Home Grid Polaroids 2.

Next, add a Topic List block. Make sure you choose the appropriate Topic Tree and select the "Long Way Home Animated Filter" custom template.

How to apply the "card" style to a block?

Click on the block and select "Design & Custom Templates". Choose the "card" style from the Custom Class dropdown. This style is available for the following blocks: Feature, Next & Previous Nav, Share this Page, Content, Topic List, Date Navigation, Google Map, Search, Image and Page List.  

How to change the background color of a card-styled block?

Once you've applied the card style to the block, click again on "Design & Custom Templates" and choose a background color.
