Lucid Two Column Layout

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I would like to widen the main column and narrow the left column. Maybe something like 25/75. Do I have to dive into the code to do this or can I do it through CSS? Can you point me in the right direction. I am not that skilled so please keep that in mind. Thanks.

Hi,

To change the structure of the page you will actually need to change some of the classes within the structure. As this effectively modifies the files we can not support this. However as a pointer, you should look in this file packages > lucid > themes > lucid > elements > main-left-sidebar.php.

You will see the classes 'one-third column' and 'two-thirds columns'. These are the classes you would need to alter. Which exact file you need to change this in depends on which page type ad areas you need to change.

For example, you can change the classes to 'three columns' & 'thirteen columns' respectively - please note the total must add up to sixteen:

eight columns - eight columns
ten columns - six columns

etc etc etc.

Please make sure you back up all of your files before doing ay customizations.

Thanks
