Its a very simple footer to use. Basically its a four column footer based theme. I've already added a documentation to style it as like the demo link. But its not mandatory to use those. You can simply add any block over there without any problem.
In case you want a single column footer, just let me know. I'll give you a modified footer.php file.

The feature list says there are two different Footers; 'Simple' & 'Advanced' but i can't find a way to change it.

I have read the documentation.

I'd just like to add normal content to the 4 footer columns:
H3 heading and a few lines of paragraph text with links to each colummn but the output seems to be different in every column and it's not looking very good.

Otherwise this is an excellent theme and it's working very well.

I'm so sorry that I've forgotten to remove this feature from marketplace page. As per the users demand, I've simply removed the simple footer as it doesn't looks good. The current theme only have the 4 column footer. I apologize for this mistake.

I'm not sure why the output is different in every column. Can you share a screenshot. Also a live url would be a plus.

BTW please raise this point into the support ticket section.

No problem, I got it sorted by copying and editing the html from the demo. The problem is that my client doesn't know any html, so if he's trying to change anything in the footer, it might become an issue.
