Sliders not working correctly

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, David:
On a Metris installation, I'm trying to install a responsive slider on a right-sidebar page, which I'm using as my homepage.

The regular Concrete Slideshow works fine, but is not responsive. Both the Vidall Slider and FlexSlider2 do weird things -- 1) adding extra margin/padding to the left side and moving the slides further and further to the right. If I make the slides bigger, they just start overlapping the right side of the column.

I have updated to the latest Metris version.

Here's a test page with examples:http://homesbyjlee.com/test-page...

Thanks for any help you can give.
Mark

Hi Mark,

I cant see the Vidall slider doing anything wierd tbh, it looks fine to me, in Chrome, and appears to be doing what it should.

The other flexsliders are being affected by the css rules for the ul and li in the theme, as they dont use the standard flexslider markup, the code that corrects that on the vidall slider is not working on the flexsliders.

if you add this to the main stylesheet, it should remedy that for you:

.default-flexslides li {
   margin-left: 0px !important;
    list-style-type: none !important;
}

Regards

David

Thanks, David. I added the code. The flex slider still doesn’t work. I will use the Vidall slider, but I do wish it had a fade feature…
Cheers,
Mark
